Nicholas Schubert is an Operating Partner with RMR. Prior to this, Mr. Schubert was the Senior Vice President of American National Corporation (ANC), a family office and bank holding company with over $3.0B in assets. In this role, he served as general counsel and led corporate development and strategy at the holding company and operating subsidiary levels. He was responsible for consolidating multiple bank charters and operations into a single operating bank, acquiring additional subsidiary banks, and conducting nearly $200 million of additional asset transactions. Prior to ANC, Mr. Schubert was the Manager of Corporate Development and Strategy at PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. In that role, he was responsible for day-to-day management of PCL’s corporate strategy initiatives. Mr. Schubert also worked on alternatively financed infrastructure projects, including P3s. Earlier in his career, Mr. Schubert worked in management consulting at Navigant Consulting, Inc. and FMI, Inc. His clients included leading construction, oil and gas, and petrochemical companies, as well as private equity firms and sovereign entities. Mr. Schubert holds a B.A. in International Political Economy from Fordham University, and earned his J.D. at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.
